Karen Errichetti, DrPH, MPH, Senior Research Scientist at HRiA, is an experienced public health researcher with over a decade of experience conducting applied research and program evaluation on behalf of federal and state agencies. She currently provides leadership at the subgrantee level for the Sí Texas Evaluation, an evaluation of integrated behavioral health. Prior to coming to HRiA, Dr. Errichetti served as lead researcher for several federally-funded evaluations in the area of child health in her role at the National Institute for Child Health Quality (NICHQ). Specifically, at NICHQ, Dr. Errichetti led efforts to develop quality improvement measures for state and federally-funded learning collaboratives on topics such as newborn hearing screening, epilepsy care, and breastfeeding promotion. Dr. Errichetti served as NICHQ’s Project Director for the CHIPRA Technical Assistance and Analytic Support partnership, a Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services funded initiative. She also led an evaluation of the Improving Systems of Care Quality Improvement project for the Maternal and Child Health Bureau.

Dr. Errichetti evaluated the early implementation of the Massachusetts Anti-Bullying law using a mixed methods approach for her dissertation. Dr. Errichetti holds a doctor of public health degree from Boston University, a master’s degree in public health from Yale University, and a bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College in Biological Sciences.
